The role of the Educational Psychologist
An Educational Psychologist looks at the way individuals learn and behave in various settings and how to implement the most effective interventions to ensure a continuation of progression academically, socially and emotionally.
An Educational Psychologist will help in the following areas:
•Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia)
•Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder AD(H)D
•Autism and Aspergers Syndrome ASD
•Behavioural and Emotional issues
•Counselling
•General concerns about educational progress
•Levels of cognitive functioning
